Guitar Lessons
Students will learn the technique of holding and playing the guitar. Children will learn chords, notes, strumming patterns as well as song writing and accompaniment. Incorporation of other instruments such as drums, xylophones, and other non percussive instruments will be used during lessons to reinforce learning.

Students provide own guitar.
It is encouraged to not have all plastic tuning pegs and a guitar that has a lot of plastic on the strings, etc. Guitar should fit the child as well and there are many inexpensive ones available.
Fingernails should be trimmed to be able to push the strings down.
